Whip up a fairytale dessert with this Vanilla Bundt Cake that’s as easy to make as it is delicious. No intricate sculpting or fancy decorations required—just a special bundt pan, a bit of greasing, and your favorite batter to see a plain vanilla cake turn into a stunning showstopper.

Ingredients

  • Special Bundt Cake Pan (28 cm)
  • For Pan Coating (for easy release)
  • Soft butter
  • White sugar
  • Cake
  • 2 cups heavy cream (38% fat)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups (300g) white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups (350g) self-rising flour

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pan: Generously coat the bundt pan with melted butter (double layer—coat with butter, freeze for 10 minutes, then coat again). Sprinkle sugar, shake to cover the pan evenly, and discard the excess.
  2. Preheat the oven to 320°F (160°C).
  3. In a mixer, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Add eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract, continue to beat until well combined. Add self-rising flour and mix on low speed until just combined.
  4. Bake for approximately 45 minutes until the cake is set and spongy to the touch, and a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool and invert the cake onto a serving plate.
